Dr. Michael Novak, MD, FISDS, FIACS
Dr. Michael Novak practiced dermatology and dermatologic surgery in Glendale for over 40 years, specializing in skin cancer detection and screening. He spent most of his career at his office on Central Avenue in Glendale, and since 2014, has been an active member of our Verdugo Dermatology team of dermatologists. He retired in 2020.
Dr. Novak’s strong interest has been teaching prevention of skin cancer and melanoma. He lectured and has written extensively on this topic because he is certain that it saves lives. Although he does not actively practice medicine now, he seems to always express the importance of sun protection in just about every conversation!
In his well-deserved retirement, Dr. Novak spends his time enjoying fitness, friends, family and his beloved dogs.
He continues to support Verdugo Dermatology and we support his legacy!
