Dr. Connie Chang, MD, FAAD
Dr. Connie Chang is a board-certified dermatologist caring for patients in Arcadia, Pasadena, and the surrounding communities for the past 6 years. Dr. Chang specializes in Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology.
Dr. Chang grew up in Texas, in the town of Arlington, where she graduated as valedictorian of Sam Bowie High School. Dr. Chang went on to college on a full scholarship to the University of Texas (UT), in Austin. She studied Biology and quickly graduated college with honors, in only 3 years.
With her compassion for patients and love of science, Dr. Chang pursued a career in medicine, following the footsteps of her three older siblings, who are physicians as well. Dr. Chang proceeded to stay local in Texas and enrolled in medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch, in Galveston. Dr. Chang graduated medical school with AOA (Alpha Omega Alpha) honors, one of the highest honors bestowed to medical school graduates.
Dr. Chang moved out west for her dermatology training, completing her Dermatology Residency at the Loma Linda Medical Center, in Loma Linda, CA. During her residency, Dr. Chang engaged in several research projects in dermatology, authoring various peer-reviewed articles in dermatology. Dr. Chang was also a Chief Resident, where she taught the intricacies and nuances of dermatology to junior residents and medical students.
Since 2008, Dr. Chang has been caring for her patients in a compassionate, thoughtful, and thorough manner. She has a loyal patient following in the Arcadia and Pasadena areas, and we are thrilled to have her join our practice in the Glendale, La Crescenta, La Canada communities.
In her spare time, Dr. Chang enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys. She is an avid reader and also enjoys running and gardening.
